Silly Girl...

Lauren is no more silly than the next toddler and so we find ourselves smiling and giggling at what new ways she comes up with to entertain herself.
We captured a few examples for memory's sake: Mommy's shoes aren't big enough (see off to the left) but Daddy's are just right. The next picture is a happy picture of Lauren laughing at herself because she is trying to keep her balance while standing on something wobbly. The last picture is of Lauren eating an apple and just relaxing on a pillow (created by the pack in play that needs to get taken out to the garage), and the bars underneath our kitchen table chairs. She does have a bed, I promise. And no, this is not our version of time out. ;)

Playgroup at the Zoo

This trip to the Santa Ana Zoo was so much fun. It was about a year ago when we took Lauren for her first visit and back then she was still a little too young to notice where we were and what to look at. Plus it was freezing! (This time would have been the best though if we had Jim there with us). It was a nice day and the kids loved seeing all of the animals in the petting zoo, the train, and the many monkey exhibits. ;) They also loved the two places where they could run around and Lauren's favorite...going down the slide!

There's nothing quite like a good book to read...

Lauren really likes her books. Usually she just pulls the books off the shelf one by one as she reads them. These days, this is how she gets into reading. The other day as she was standing on one of her books she said, "Let's jump into this book!" (That's a "Super Why"reference taken too literally.) I'm all for her loving books, just not the part about jumping on books. ;)

Valentine Party Pictures

A little behind...but here are some pictures from the Valentine's Day party:
I wasn't very good at getting pictures with everyone in them. I'll try to be more organized next time I take pics. Among all these cute little girls are 3 little guys. You can kind of see all of them in the first shot. We always have fun at the Presley house!
